HELP PACK A VAN FOR 🌻 UKRAINE 🌻
We have made a contact with Voorhees Family Dentistry, who is doing a collection of needed items for Ukraine. This will most likely be including our 55 bears for the Ukrainian children fleeing the war zones.
Printed below you will find the letter received listing the items they are being told are the most needed. If you would like to donate new items from the list, there will be large baskets in the sanctuary where you can leave donations, or contactless donations may be put in the outdoor bins by the thrift shop marked UKRAINE. All donations must be at the church no later than Sunday April 17th when we will pack the van and deliver our gifts of love to Voorhees for their anticipated delivery.
Join us in sharing the Love of God and the Hope for Peace for the citizens of Ukraine who live with the horrors of the current warfare.
Our team at Voorhees Family Dentistry is asking for your support to help the people of Ukraine. We have all felt helpless watching this attack on Ukraine and the suffering of the Ukrainian people.
We will be supporting Ukraine through the Baranova 27, Ukrainian Humanitarian Aid Foundation.
Baranova 27 was started by Sasha Chmerkovskiy, father of professional dancers Maks and Val, who you may know from “Dancing with the Stars”. Sasha said “If there is a will, there is always a way.” Baranova 27 is the address in Odessa, Ukraine, where the Chmerkovskiy boys spent their childhood before immigrating to the US.
Now, with Ukraine in the midst of war, people there are becoming more and more desperate for essential needs. Baranova 27 is an initiative to gather, transport, and provide these essentials to families and frontline heroes in Ukraine that need immediate help.
